Typing nonstop, it still doesn’t seem like I’m any closer to finishing enochallen.com, even though I’ve posted earlier about my proximity to the finish line.

Oh, wait. I know what’s keeping me. The Flash animation!

Been getting quite a few messages abt. the Suite 101 updates. Rest assured, they’re coming. In fact, the Suite 101 posts may be my last posts on this blog before everything switches over to enochallen.com. Then again. . .

Sorry for all the confusion, really! I’ll blame my lack of good judgment on the mind-meltingly daunting task of publishing enochallen.com.

I'm getting royally dicked over by HTML, and my ability to write great grammar is suffering because of it.

Consider this fact. In the past 14 days, I have posted just six entries to my weblog, with this post being the sixth. Hoo-rah.

This website misadventure is slowly turning into an Apocalypse Now-like experience. I am slightly mad (crazy) now. But, it is getting done.

Excuses, excuses. . .

I am way past my personal deadline on publishing my website. And what can I say?

I’m doin’ the best that I damn possibly can. As fast as I can do it.

On Sunday, I was switching some channels, and what should I see but a sorry couple of minutes of Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. Even by TV movie standards, it’s still pretty crappy. Not to mention agonybooth.com worthy.

More on that later, perhaps after I publish my website. What a battle this has been. So glad it’s almost over.

My First Post in Almost Six Days

Told you that I would be hardly updating Blogger. Next post will be in three minutes, after I get to my refrigerator.

The Epic Project

Still working on my website. Putting in many hours. Almost done.

I realize that the above message sounds like some damn 1920 telegram. Oh well. I’m taking too much time just typing these words. The more time you devote to a project, the better and the more accomplished the project looks. That’s why, until the site is up (and maybe even after) you’ll be getting very spotty updates from me. Probably sometimes (despite how fast I type) two, maybe three updates/weekly.

Just putting you guys on notice, amigos!

I have tried to make this post the shortest ever, but I have too much to say. Besides, for that to happen I would have to write just one word and post it to el bloglarosa.

We’re almost finished with the website. The worst is over, so now I can do the rest of the very basic coding and Flash animation by myself without having to irritate any of my friends with my incessant requests. The site’s still pretty rough-looking, but I think it will look marginally better by the time I publish it in a couple days’ time.

There’s always good stuff for you guys to look at over at gamepolitics.com, and every day www.ign.com has, like, a whole encyclopedia’s set worth of updates that’ll keep your eyes dancing until retirement.

More later. . .

Okay, I take back what I said about working with Dreamweaver. It’s a bitch. I now pronounce Adobe Go Live as the HTML coding program of choice. Go, Adobe, go!

Another one of my dumb announcements.

Thought I’d post this late-breaking alert to this site.

You’re gonna need Macromedia Flash Player 8 (don’t worry, it’s free) to view my second promo card on enochallen.com. You can get it here. If you don’t want the Yahoo! Toolbar (or, if you just already have it), then just uncheck the box. Like I do. Every time. If you don’t have Flash Player 8, and you still want to see my site, well—you just won’t see it. In that case, you would be seriously f***’d. My friend.

Cheers.

Couple new websites for ya!

You’ll notice that I’ve finally found a way to give special designs to links I deem to be important. Such a link can be found on my sidebar, which will take you to http://www.hated-it.com/. It’s easy to read, and frequently funny as hell. I can’t wait until Old Hickory updates with another scathing takedown of an awful film. (His Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever review is as long if not longer as any review of a bad movie that can be found at http://www.agonybooth.com/.) And if you can survive that epic trial then you can defeat Al-Qaeda.

Well, not really, but y’know. . .

Too busy to write a longer post.

Nothing like using Macromedia Dreamweaver to post motion content on your site.

That last sentence can be interpreted as a plug for that product—however, I did not intend for it to be. Anyway, Dreamweaver has a steep learning curve, I’ll tell ya. And I’m a graphics designer.

More later. My apologies for the cryptic nature of this post.

And I'm heading towards 200 posts! So there!

I had the intention of maintaining three blogs at once, at one time. I now see the light. I now see that if I want to sleep, one of the three that were started must die.

Goodbye, E. Allen Assessment. I'm sure we can be friends, but for now, I think we need time off. A break from each other. Don’t worry. . .you’ll always be in my thoughts.

Hee hee! My third blog will be, of course, on enochallen.com. Along with numerous other bells & whistles. If you don't know by now, I’m really giddy about the whole thing. Can’t wait for you guys to see it.

At last, an update.

Posting has been sluggish around here for a while—it’s because of the development of my website, which is more problematic than I expected it to be, but I guess that’s the way it is in website development. Plus, it doesn’t help that my lofty design for the site is, at least, partially to blame for the difficulties inherent in bringing my website to life.

Needless to say, I hope to be making slightly more updates later on—appreciate those who e-mailed me about this—but I believe that when you guys see the enochallen.com site (don’t hold your breath), you’ll agree that it’s worth the wait. I’m putting my all into this. It will truly be my first global endeavor.

The R.I.P. Club

What’s with all these guys dying on us all of a sudden? Now, I haven’t met any of these guys, never had dinner with them, never met their families, never acted in any of their creations—but, I feel a sense of duty to post their names here. Nipsy Russell, Ronnie Barker, August Wilson, Hamilton Camp—all in the past 48 to 72 hours. There are probably more. . .but, I don’t feel like doing a head count.

Is it me, or is 2005 starting to feel like the year that all the entertainers of the baby boomer generation just, *sigh* go and check out?

August Wilson dies

Playwright, author of Radio Golf (which is still being performed), Ma Rainey, and his most popular play, Fences.

Just two months ago, with some difficulty Mr. Wilson managed to let the world know via The Associated Press that, he was ready to go. How soon, he did not specify.

However, like Peter Jennings, none of us expected him to depart this soon.

My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Loonatics: Unleashed is still on the air. . .

Soon, you will see a crapload of updates on this website, with most or all of those updates centered on bashing the shit out of Loonatics: Unleashed. Still on air, after two painful (but not horrifying or terrifying) episodes.

That’s an achievement, actually. And—wait, hold on, take a breather--and I’m almost sure that the guys who created these abominations (yes, I consider each episode an individual assault on the senses) won’t be tried for crimes against humanity.

In the words of the immortal Pinky of Pinky and the Brain: “‘Tis a pity.”

Oh no—here comes another one of those lists. . .

Over at ign.com, The Top 25 Animated Films. Here is the link, a day or two late.

Agree or disagree? I envisioned Bluth’s Titan A.E., Anastasia and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm on the list, but—what the hell. No list is perfect or superior, not even mine own. (That last sentence is not a typo.)

I proudly introduce. . .

See Melon’s mouse run. Run Xiao Bao run. See Melon’s mouse hide. Hide Xiao Bao hide!

See a remarkable collection of pictures. And those aren’t running or hiding anywhere.
